Exclusive Taskmaster clip: Screaming bricks
Build a brick tower, screaming. Your time starts now.
We're back with another fun Taskmaster clip ahead of episode 9, this time previewing a classically complicated task where contestants have to manage multiple elements at once.
Outside the caravan, the contestants find a trolley, some closed bins, a donkey with a hardhat, and a bunch of bricks. You know, just normal, Taskmaster house stuff.
The task: "Build a tower of bricks on this trolley, then push it down the slope. You may not touch the trolley after it passes the start line. The tallest tower that passes the finish line wins. As well as bricks, all the contents of one of these bins must be part of your tower, but nothing else. You may only look inside the bins once, and only for as long as you can scream. You must replace each lid before looking in the next bin. You have a total of 10 minutes, and three attempts during which you must also scream."
Here's the clip:
The clip doesn't share much of what's in the bins, but I'd have to imagine they vary wildly, and it seems like exactly the type of task design that will encourage some very different approaches. And a whole lot of screaming.
Episode nine of Taskmaster Series 20, titled "A 1970s camping kettle." will air on YouTube later today at 5 p.m. ET.
