We're back with another funny exclusive clip from Series 20 of Taskmaster, this time leaning a bit more into contestant Reece Shearsmith's experience as a magician – with a side of Edgar Allan Poe.

The task: Cut a single string to cause the greatest effect. You have 20 minutes.

I instantly imagined some sort of Rube Goldberg machine – I have to think one of the contestants go that route – but Reece Shearsmith went even bigger, putting on a full parody of The Pit and the Pendulum, with Alex Horne as his poor victim "Contessa."
