Exclusive Taskmaster clip: Sanjeev Bhaskar has a wee surprise for Greg and Alex

We're only two episodes into Taskmaster series 20, and Sanjeev Bhaskar has already made quite the impression. The actor, comedian, television presenter, and chancellor of the University of Sussex has brought a relatively carefree attitude to the show, seemingly barely trying at some tasks and finishing in last (or tied for last) in each of the first two episodes. 

But that's an important role to play in any balanced Taskmaster cast – you need some contestants who try very hard, and some who seem to relish in making as little effort as possible. Bhaskar has already excelled at filling the latter role, and it’s made for a fun dynamic in the first few weeks of episodes.

Above, you can find an exclusive clip from episode three, a snippet from the prize task – “The thing you were least likely to bring in from your home.” Bhaskar has a wee surprise for Greg and Alex that causes the Taskmaster to remark that this might mark “a real turnaround” in Bhaskar’s fortunes on the show (while Alex, of course, makes an exhausting pun).

Episode three of Taskmaster Series 20 will air on Channel 4 and YouTube on Thursday, September 25.
