Where to watch: Digital rental/purchase

An ambitious ode to multi-culturalism that is also a kickass Italian kung fu movie and an announcement of the arrival of Mulan stunt performer Liu Yaxi as an action star. Read my review.

Godzilla's 71st birthday celebration

Celebrate the 71st birthday of cinema's biggest star with this incredible stop-motion Godzilla animation directed by Cressa Maeve Áine. It's the best thing I've seen this week, and perfectly captures the joy of the franchise.
