I am extremely excited this week because my lovely and talented partner Tristan’s new play was just published by 1319 Press. It’s called The Great Impresario Boris Lermontov Would Like To Invite You To Dinner, and it’s a funny, ambitious play about power dynamics and working in the arts. Consider picking up a copy today!

A Na Hong-jin movie
I keep hearing great things about the new action creature feature Hope, from celebrated Korean filmmaker Na Hong-jin. I actually haven’t seen any of Na’s previous movies, so I’ll be checking out his action thriller The Yellow Sea or his disturbing horror movie The Wailing this weekend.
Armand Hammer’s Tiny Desk concert
I have the great fortune of having a musician brother who puts me onto great music. One of my favorite acts he’s introduced me to is the rap duo Armand Hammer. Their new Tiny Desk concert rules – just like their music, it works well as either a groovy background vibe or a rewarding close listen.
